Since the moment we found out we were pregnant, I dreamt of throwing our baby a gem and crystal themed birthday party. Crystals have played a big role in my pregnancy and aided me throughout the most uncertain times. It felt like the perfect theme to tie all things magical and spiritual together.

Seeing that there weren’t any gem themed parties got look at for inspiration- I

drew inspiration from my daily crystal rituals*.

Due to the pandemic and in order to respect government regulations at this time, we decided to have a birthday party at home without any guests and document it for our friends & family. After cutting the cake, we drove to our family and friends homes and completed outdoor drop offs of Crystals, Cake & Cookies – Aura’s adorable little friends got a gem themed loot bag.

I chose to give everyone a rose quartz because of what it represents. Rose Quartz purifies and opens the heart at all levels to promote love, self-love, friendship, deep inner healing and feelings of peace. I thought it would be a cute way to spread love through gifting it to everyone at a time like this.

A big shoutout to @papersandparties for gifting us an array of beautiful decor for Aura’s party! The custom “Aura’s a Gem” banner, iridescent plates, cups, straws and confetti was all from @papersandparties. It was truly a one stop shop for all things party related.
